Stephanie O’Reilly is an Irish writer who has been long listed for a TV series by BBC NI and short listed for the RTE Short Screen Award. Her debut novel, Mac, is a coming of age novel confronting addiction, poverty and gangland crime. Years working as a doctor in the UK and Ireland allowed Stephanie to witness the highs and lows of the human experience, working with some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in society. Mac was a winner in both the IAMINPRINT competition (UK) 2025 and the International Debut Novel Competition 2025. Stephanie lives in the Southwest of Ireland with her husband and their dog.
