A man wearing a pink bucket hat, black jacket, and a green shirt underneath, giving a thumbs-up. The background appears to be indoors with a plain wall.

Craig Pearson Fender

Craig Pearson Fender was born in Chester-Le-Street but grew up in a tiny village in the north Pennines, a fey and peculiar place riddled with hidden mineshafts where there are more sheep than people. After graduating university he set out to become a writer, taking a slew of part time cleaning jobs where he became familiar with the peculiar magic of cleaning cupboards- the inspiration for his first novel Panjandrum. Craig lives in Newcastle with his daughter Esme and son Sam (not the singer). His favourite books are Under The Net by Iris Murdoch, On The Road by Jack Kerouac and The Master And Margarita by Mikael Bulgakov.
